SOOOOO how did the radio station quiz go???????

Ooh - that's me:)

Hi Eda - well, DH Darryl did genuinely get his 5 out of 5 questions right . . . the other competitor had to have help from the presenter on THREE!!! And still she got 5 out of 5. Of course this is a pride thing, where DH is concerned, but still his prize was a night out at the movies for two. DD Katie not impressed;)

Once Darryl had "performed" we went out for an hour or so to visit friend's yacht . . . on the way back they were doing another quiz on guess the year, so Darryl got Katie (9 born in 1993) to ring up because the year was 1979! Matt Hopper, the presenter, says to Katie - "so, is there anything you really remember about this year then, Katie?" - Katie came straight back with a quizzical "I don't know, I wasn't born". Out of the mouth of babes and all that - but the thing was she was SO delighted *** she'd also got a mention:p

(don't feel too bad about me being the only one who didn't get a mention - I was interviewed on another local radio station during world cup - but then this was for work and I am a press officer;)
