First time Disney Cruiser here and need some questions answered...

1) Is there a size limit to the type of carry-on bag you carry onto the ship?

2) Are children allowed carry-on bags?

3) We are taking out Laptop for the kids to watch DVD's in the van during the 12 hour drive. Can I take the Laptop onto the ship as a carry-on bag?

4) What is the best way to carry-on canned drinks?

and last...

5) Does the ship provide bottled water or is there a charge for it?

Thanks in advance for all your help!

I can help with SOME of your questions..
#2) Yes, we had my daughter bring a carry on, (that way we could bring more)

#4) A soft sided cooler is probably the best way to bring drinks, but I've heard of wrapping them in HEAVY plastic and packing them in your suitcase- only setback, you run the risk of a leak onto your clothes...

#5) Don't remember bottled water, BUT you won't need it. I am THE pickiest water drinker, and the water on the ship was GOOD. I drank it out of my faucet in the room, and the drink bar on deck 9 has crushed ice and water. It's good. I don't even drink my tap water at home, and I liked the ships water. REALLY.. Hope I helped a little.

1. Don't think there's a size limit...some people carry on an enormous amount of things as I remember!

2. Yes! Invest in a backpack on wheels...best thing I ever did for my little ones!

3. Yes.

4. Some people pack their drinks, some carry on a soft sided cooler on wheels, I even read about someone duck taping their cases together and putting it with the luggage when they checked in.

5. There is a charge for bottled water, but cold water and ice are available at all times on Deck 9, and it is very good. I have a well, and I'm picky about my water, too!

We had several carry on bags (clothes, camera, etc.) so I think a laptop would be fine.

My son took a backpack with wheels.

We checked a small suitcase on wheels that was full of sodas and water and the collapsable cooler. I wanted bottled water for shore excursions. We then used the empty suitcase to put dirty clothes in.
