August 3 we ate at the Play N Dine at Hollywood & Vine. It was our first time here. We were here at rope drop @ 7:30 for an 8 o'clock opening with EMH @DHS with an 8:20 ADR and we were the first family of the day at H&V. I went to TSM for FP while my DH took the kids to check-in. When I walked in, it was very pleasant and clean! There was no "rush"-like at crystal palace. It was very laid back.
The only negative was that Goliath wrapped himself @ DS (2) from behind which scared him half to death...but thank God that happened before I got there. So from there on in, DS (2), did NOT want to get too close to ANY character!
The food was good and edible. The restrooms were clean. We were not crowded by people & I recommend this for a close up with Payhouse Disney characters for little ones with hungry parents! It was our first meal of our vacation and it was very enjoyable due to good food, good entertainment, and LOW people count.:thumbsup2

We had a very similar experience a year ago February. We had a great meal! The characters were great and it wasn't crowded. We would definitely go back!

Thanks for the review. My DD(2) LOVES little einsteins, especially June. I'm a little worried of her being scared of the characters, but she's seen some characters in person (Dora and Spongebob) and didn't hate them, (but didn't love them either) so she might be more receptive if it's characters she knows. I have to say some of the other reviews made me nervous, but the promise of breakfast burritos made my husband want to try it...do they still have those?

This is one of my son favorite character meal. He loves the song/dance and the musical parade. This is a great place for young kids. Thank you for sharing.

I'm glad you liked it! I definitely recommend it if you have little ones. We have had breakfast there the past two years and really love the character experience!
