Where has the time gone?

I suppose I should get my act together and start packing. I don't think I'm ready! But my countdown timer keeps ticking away!

I know the feeling! I'm right behind you, we leave Saturday! I have to pack for four people, along with all the other little things that have to be brought, medication, film, band-aids, etc. Will I ever make it?? But I love this pressure!

Yeah, but I'm sitting here at work, thinking of all the things I could be doing at home!:rolleyes:

Fortunately I'm only working till 11 am on July 3rd. I really have to get my act together! My DD 12 1/2 and my DS almost 9 (July 6th) are gathering their stuff to pack. At least they are organized! I still have to pack for me and DH!

I know, and I am home, but here I sit having my morning coffee, checking out posts on the Dis! I've got to get busy!!;)

We are also leaving Saturday! Can't wait! I have my pack list ready but don't have anything packed. I too sit here on the boards sitting like I don't have nothing to do. :p

Hehe, I'm 54 days out and starting to panic already! I think calling for PS's moved me to a new level of preparation/anticipation. There's so much yet to be done! The iron-on designs for the t-shirts have been printed but I need to unpack the tees from the suitcase (that way I knew where they were!) and iron them on - 16 shirts, arrgh. Then it's buying the snacks and incidentals, and then surviving the next few weeks. Best wishes to you lucky people who will be there soon!

I have traveled so much I now wait the last minute and find I never forget anything. have a FUNtastic time, I wish I was back there, but now I have a long wait to go again:)

The easiest thing to do is wait till the night before! LOL! That's when you can actually focus, and also when you have all the clothes clean and infront of you. My motto "If I forget to pack it, I don't need it. If I do need it, I can buy it." And, that is usually pretty true!

Wow, I can't believe you're leaving already. I've been reading your posts for the last few months & know that you're going (& staying at the GF) just before us...makes me realize how soon our departure date is. Like you, I haven't begun our packing so I guess I'd better get started as well. Enjoy your trip.

What time is your flight and how early do you plan to get to Bradley. I'm flying SWA that same day on an 11:00 a.m. flight and plan to get there around 9:00 a.m. Think this is early enough? I'm starting to panic and don't really know what to expect as far as security, especially since it will be July 4th! Anyone know if my hubby, (who's not going with us this time!) will be able to get into the waiting area to stay with us until we board?

Our flight is at 10:35 Delta Express . . .when I called the airport they told me I should arrive at least 1 1/2 hours prior to our flight. I'll be getting there about 9:00, if not before. All depending on when our ride comes and gets us . . .

With all the strict security measurements supposedly in place, they are not allowing non-ticketed passengers beyond the security gate :( But you can always call SWA and ask the procedure.

Maybe we'll see ya there!. . .:) You'll be right behind us in the sky :)

Us,to. We leave on Saturday and I can't wait. I have these plans since August 2001 and after all the saving, scrimping,planning,saving, gathering trinkets,writing down things so I don't forget stuff,saving, reading post and did I mention saving the ANTICIPATION is killing me. I hope we all have a safe, magical trip, one that we will remember always. We're driving down from Jersey, and the plan is to leave around 5am, stay over in Ga for the night and then get to CR on Sunday morning. Hope to see some of you there. I hope you all have a fun and safe trip this week/weekend. I am one of those people that likes to pack 3 months out, but this time I have been different.

I have only packed toiletries, and items that we won't need right now. I mark them off my list, so I know they are there, and look at that bag every night:D

Still can't believe we have 3 week's left - we have been planning since January, and I thought July would never get here!!
