Epcot Monorail

How easy would it be to walk to Epcot from BCV and take the Epcot Monorail to Magic Kingdom as opposed to taking the bus? Any comments would be appreciated.

You'd have to wait until Epcot opens at 9:00 a.m. (Although World Showcase doesn't open until 11:00 a.m., you're allowed to walk past the UK and Canada to Furure World.) You'd have a fairly long walk through World Showcase, Future World, and out the main exit to the Epcot monorail station. You'd take the monorail to the Ticket and Transportation Center, where you'd have to transfer to another monorail or to a boat.

I'd recommend the bus, which takes you to the bus center near the front gate of the Magic Kingdom.

If you just want to kill some time, you can definitely take the monorail, but as Werner points out it's a long walk.

If you're just looking for transportation and to get to MK as quickly as possible, I concur with Werner, take the bus.

Usual time to MK front gate by bus from BC, about 25 minutes. Usual time to walk through Epcot, take monorail to TTC and then take second monorail to MK, about 50 minutes.
