Disney Magic - September 5, 2009

Partner and I will be sailing our first Disney cruise, the Magic on September 5th. Any others who might be on board this sailing? I was a little hesitant having never been on a Disney cruise and have mostly sailed Royal Caribbean. Hoping I won't be bored. Also, what are the spa facilities like? Is there a seperate Men's sauna and/or steamroom?

You will have an amazing time on the Magic. It's a beautiful ship and dare I say a bit more upscale than Royal Caribbean. You'll love Castaway Cay.

The spa is very nice - similar to those on other ships. Prepare to be offered Elemis products for sale.

Yes, there are separate saunas for men and women.

Sailing on the Magic on 9/12 this will be our 18th sailing.
Done the WB TransAtlantic and the EB Panama on her having only sailed a 10 day on the Wonder /and our 1st 3-day ----The Magic is the better of the twins as far as service.
The Magic looks like a sports car when you see her docked up against the white "buses" of Carnival and Royal.
You MUST try Palo!!--brunch is great, dinner is good,--or better yet get asked to sit at the Captains table as it has its own special Palo menu!!
