Keeping in mind that DH and I intend to use our charge card whenever possible, how much cash should we take for the 7 day Western? We intend to charge our tips for cruise personnel. I am estimating about $50 in singles for miscellaneous tipping . Too much? Too little? What about tipping on the excursions? Purchasing at stands in Grand Cayman and Cozumel? Would you recommend a total of about $400 cash?

just back from 6-22 Western. As Dave said-take twice as much money and half as many clothes.LOL.
We were so busy that we only ordered room service once (cash tip) You will want small bills (1-5-10) to bargain in Cozumel for silver and trinkets, but most the rest of our purchases went on Visa. It does depend what you are shopping for, but $400 cash should be doable.
