I'm seriously thinking about goin to WDW August 28th - Sept 4th with my 3 month old. Here's how it came about:
I had planneda trip to see my brother, his family & my parents in Minnesota August 30th - Sept 4th, while my wife isout of town on business. I was going to stay with my brother's family so thy could meet my littl one for the1st time. Welll he calls me today & tells me they just booked a trip to WDW during the time I am visiting them!
After I got done being pissed off, I started planning. I could change my visit to Minnesota oneweek earlier & then fly with them to WDW. I'd still have the long flight back to California by myself with te baby, but maybe that wouldn't be toooo bad.
Am I crazy? A two week trip with a 3 month old & the Florida heat? So tempting though.

My only question is how owuld your wife feel? I would not be a happy camper if my DH took our little on to WDW without me the first time and vice versa.. I would never take her her first time without him.
Other than that I think it depends on the baby... if she is cranky and colicy than it may bot be the best idea but if not.. go and have fun

My DW is totally fine with it & I am so lucky to havean easy baby. She gts cranky in th evening, but nothing major.
I'm just worried about the heat & the sun. Can sunblock be used on 3 month olds?

If you think the baby will be fine, I say go for it. I would be interested in your trip report. My wife just gave birth to a son on Monday (Aug. 3). We are taking him and his older sisters to Disney in a little less than two months. I really think the hardest part will be slowing down and allowing my wife to nurse him. We plan to take advantage of the Baby Care Centers at each park.
So from one crazy dad to another, I say "Go and have fun!"

The Bottles say do not use on childern under 6 months.. when I asked my Pedi he said try to keep her out of the sun but if you must be in the sun then yes.. use an SPF 30 or higher. I cannot people with new babies in Florida don't use sunblock

My doc said to use sunscreen on our little 8 week old if we must. He said the possible reaction he may have from the sunscreen is much less than the trouble a sunburn would cause him. Make sure it has both UVA and UVB protection.
But for your stroller, a clip on fan and a RAY SHADE! http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=4631112
Not sure if you plan on using a travel system stroller or having him lay in a stroller, but if he has a chance of being exposed the the sun, it is a must have.
Your wife is pretty cool for letting you take DS! I would never let my little men go w/ daddy to WDW without me. Not just because I love WDW, but also because they probably wouldn't get a bath the whole trip and he'd dress them funny!;)

If you need any tips, there are a lot of us moms here who have travelled with babies. Just ask, we would be happy to help.

yes! tips please! :) BTW: I'm also Lillian's Mom. She's got two mommies. :)
I'm going to buy that stroller fan today, although I'll probably be wearing her in her Baby Bjorn more than she'll be in the stroller.

Try to save the feeding until you are ready for take off. It will help with the ears.
Take full advantage of the Baby Care centers. They are great!

If you're using the Bjorn, don't forget a cover for it then! I use a Hooter Hider nursing cover for my Bjorn...it works great and has cute fabric. http://shop.bebeaulait.com/nc;jsessionid=0a0101441f4370fbec55cd1d4f1fa1c3ed31 da37db4c.e3eSc3uNaNuTe34Pa38Ta38Pbxz0
