Appetizers instead of an entree?

I've been looking at menus and when it comes to the kids, I know they won't eat some of these meals (they are considered adults on the dining plan). Would it be possibile to order an appetizer in place of an entree?

Probably, but not for certain.

In fact, the only place I've actually seen it report that it wasn't permitted was Yak & Yeti, but that doesn't mean it's the only restaurant where it might be denied.

They could also order off the children's menu and pay with the adult credit.
