I have a question on the bartender fee. Our ceremony is at noon, with our reception at 1. We want to offer more than just coffee and tea, like maybe some wine and soft drinks. We are planning on doing a BOC bar at the dessert party, and I don't want to pay the $100 bartender fee twice. Is there anyway around this? If we bring our own wine, do we just pay corkage fees and not bartender? Is there still a bartender fee if there is no alcohol?

If your bill comes to over $500 the fee is waived anyway, ours was.

We only have 19 people, which means each of them would have to drink about $27 worth of alcohol, at lunch time!! I want people to be able to make it back for the DP :goodvibes

I guess my thinking was if there was wine or something, we may not need a bartender, but I think from some of my other searches, it doesn't look like an option.

Ask your planner if they can combine the bar revenue for the bartender fee - perhaps they will consider it.

We looked into bringing our own wine in as the price they charge for Rosa Regala was twice as much as what we can get it at the store, but the corkage fee was ridiculous. I didn't ask at the time if we would have avoided a bartender doing it that way.
