View Full Version : Can I 'downgrade' my dining plan?

We are staying at POR this Dec and are taking advantage of the free DDP. However, we are not interested in making ADR's this time around.

Does anyone know if we can 'downgrade' the package to the QSDP? It really would better suit our needs.

Sometimes during free dining they will let you convert TS to CS + a couple snacks. I do not believe they will just let you have the other plan, but maybe you can convert some into cs.

I thought POR was only free QSDP anyway, We are staying at POR next week and had to pay to upgrade dining plan - maybe its different for us in the UK to what you guys over there get:confused3

I think we must be getting different offers than you... For us, the Value resorts get the QSDP and the Moderates get the upgraded plan.

It is not something that they can or will change on your KTWC, sometimes during high volumes of free dining they will let you exchange them upon ordering.

For the US, all disney property got the free regular dining plan up until the beginning of Oct. And from Oct.-Dec.17 the US was offered QSDP for values and regular dining plan for all other disney owned resorts.

Yes, the UK plan is different - they get the regular plan free only when booking deluxes.

You can upgrade your free dining plan, but you can't downgrade it.
