I think this is allowed, but I want to make sure. If you don't eat dessert, can you save the dessert credit to have it as a snack credit elsewhere?

Can you do this with both CS and TS meals?

Thanks!

NO. Some Cs places that have icecream bars on the menu for dessert will allow you to come back after your meal to get your dessert, but you can not use a CS or TS dessert as a snack credit

No. As the saying goes, you can't eat your cake and have it too!

:guilty: Wow, I was totally mistaken about this. Glad I asked.

Thanks! :)

More specifically, when you use a TS or CS credit, all of the entitlements that go with that credit need to be used at once. That is, if you elect to not order part of the meal that you're entitled to, you cannot later get that part of the meal.

The "exception" noted above about certain places allowing you to "come back" for ice cream still requires you to order the ice cream at the same time as the rest of your meal, but allows you to pick it up later, ostensibly so that it doesn't melt before you get to it. (Of course, if you simply decide to eat dessert first like a sensible :rolleyes1 person, you wouldn't have this problem...)

Most TS places will let you order your dessert "to go", so if you have a place to store it and it's not perishable, you can use it as a snack later. Many CS deserts are packaged, so again, if not perishable and you have a place to keep it, you can save it for later.

No, you can't do that. The dessert is not separable from the rest of the meal credit.
