View Full Version : Marathon weekend 2011??

I know I am getting way ahead of myself but just curious if anyone has a guess on the dates for marathon weekend 2011??

With this new thing going around about AP's being renewed for 15 months I was considering doing my AP's again...as they wouldn't then expire until January 18, 2011 so I am thinking this could be cost effective for me.

Any ideas??

7,8 & 9th I would have thought.
But even if its the weekend after you would stil be ok for your AP. I missed out on the extra 3 months by 2 weeks.

That is what I was hoping cause I like to stay the week after...

Sorry to hear you missed out. Are you allowed to wait the 30 days to and start your new renewal then or is it only the option of the expiry date? Silly questionI am sure but might be worth a chance.

You can renew 30 days before and after and still get the cheaper price, but they will then back date your AP to the orignial date of expire.

You sure it will be on the 7th,8th & 9th? Just wondering because I'm doing the Goofy in 2011!:thumbsup2:cool1:

Kim, I didn't know you could renew an AP for 15 months. Actually I was wondering what I was going to do for tickets since my AP expires in January 2010. Do you have a link? I can ask my TA about it.

The dates would be in keeping with what has been going on, but you never know. You could try emailing them.

Right now I am hoping to go for the coast to coast in 2011. It is a ways off and anything can happen but I intend to do the WDW full and California half in 2011. I am trying to recruit some friends and see if we have enough to get a suite or a vacation house. If not it will be the POP for me, it almost always is. I am one of those use the hotel just to sleep people so it will depend on what is the most cost effective depending on how many people I corral.
