That's an outrageous increase! Who is that with?

The only cover I've looked at besides British Gas are Domestic and General. Can't remember how their prices compared but their service on other appliances is usually very good. They've got a website here (https://www.domgen.com/live1/DGSecure.nsf/FQH10300!OpenForm&Seq=1)

That quote was from D & G, we have had the insurance with them for 5 years. I can't beleive its such a jump in cost though!!

That is one heck of a hike upwards isnt it!?

I have just looked though our Corgi Magazine to see if they recommend anyone but it is mainly trade info only. Have you tried ringing them to see if they could give you any other contacts?

Their number is: 01256 372200
or look at : Corgi (http://www.corgi-gas.com/)

Sorry if that isn't much help.

Have you always had it insured and serviced regularly? Is the boiler particularly old?

That could be one reason why they have put the price up - if they envisage that the likelihood of a breakdown is increased because of its age?

Just thinking out loud here - I have no solution unfortunately.
