We are currently waiting on our paperwork to arrive, suppose to be Monday Aug.3rd- anyway once we send those back how long before we hear anything back from Disney? Do they send you any kind of welcome package in the mail???

:cool1: We called on a Saturday and purchased our points as new members in June. Got the paperwork that Tuesday, had it notorized Wednesday, mailed it Thursday morning and tracked it---in DVC hands Friday morning. We had our welcome package within a few days. THey are very efficient.:banana:

We are in the process of buying 200 points at SSR, and will have our first dvc stay Oct 2010, things seem to be running slow for us. Went on the tour July 24, put a deposit down was suppose to have a paperwork that following Monday, never happened, then they were going to be here on Wed. of that week- a no. Then our guide said Friday- a no. Now it is suppose to be in our hand tomorrow Aug.3rd. Not sure whats going on? They are in no hurry!
Once my welcome package comes will I get any dvc goodies???

Your papers will arrive in a big Fed Ex box, with a DVC tote bag, a box of papers and info for you to keep, and the papers that need to be signed in an envelope, at least that's how it was with me last week!

Thanks everybody for the nice welcomes!! We FINALLY got our paperwork today!! I'm surprised that I'm a little nervous about signing on the dotted line, or maybe its because there is so much paperwork with info I don't understand.
Anyway happy just the same!!
