My husband and I love to dance and were crazy disappointed when we found out that ALL of the clubs were shut down last year in Pleasure Island. I know that Atlantic Dance Hall on the boardwalk has dancing, but I've also heard many people say it is dead all the time. Is this true . . .everynight? We plan to go on a Saturday and like the idea of going to Jellyrolls (which gets great reviews) early and then heading over to ADH to end our evening.
I would hate to have to pay for a taxi to Citywalk Universal or have one of us have to stay sober to drive to Citywalk. . . . .what else is there since they shut down all the clubs.
Adults want to have fun too!!

Quite a few of us feel that way, I'm sorry to say.
Atlantic Dance has been very hit or miss in my experience... mostly miss, unfortunately. Nothing I'd say you could count on. If you're over that way, better plan on making it a Jellyroll's night (maybe one of you could head out to check ADH just as a bonus, if you both leave you're likely to lose any seats you have in Jellyrolls!)
I'd say Citywalk is your best bet, since Disney really hasn't left you any options.

I agree with the Weasel. Disney has pretty told adults that they don't want them partying on-property. ADH is only there because of a long term contract with the Swan and Dolphin hotels to provide them a night club which no one promotes. When there's a convention at those hotels, ADH can actually be crowded but as you stated, it's hit or miss. Still, Saturday nights are not too bad crowd-wise. It's just that the place is so huge that even 100-150 patrons and the place still looks empty. Seriously consider CityWalk. It's not as good as PI but there are a lot of clubs to hop to in one place.
My non-commercial Blogs cover the latest PI news and Orlando night club options:

Go to Jellyrolls. They will teach you all of their dances from Unicorn to Pink Cadillac!
