Have I COMPLETELY Lost it? Is this doable????

Ok, I have come into a 'bit' of money (about 1000.00 cdn) and I have this great (??) idea of driving myself and my 6 yr old DD to disneyland mid-late july!!! It is a 24 hr drive - would do it over 3 days I think. We haven't been since sept '00 & I am out of the loop with prices, etc.... I can pack a tent in the car and we can camp on the way down - heck we can even tent near disney if we have to - what are some websites of campgrounds and what are prices like around there??? If it is cheaper just to priceline a hotel/motel as it is to camp (or within 10 bucks a night) we could do that. What are the going deals on park passes right now?? Any deals for kids/canadians??

Basically - do you think I can do this on 1000 bucks cdn??? I completely lost here and it is another one of my 'brilliant' ideas. LOL HELP!!! Point me in the right direction - would also love to hear from other BC'ers who have driven down!!
