Which Loop To Choose!!

Hello All,

I will be arrving at the Fort on August 08 from Texas. I have camped there before in the rig I have now but it has been a few years and I cannot remeber which loop we were on last. I have a very large 5th wheel that is close to 39' to 40' long. I know I can request a particular loop but I also know it may not be available. Any guidance I can get would be greatly appreciated. Which type of site did you reserve Full, Preferred, Preminum ? The new Preminum sites have been enlarged, and there now 3 loops left as preferred and four I think left as Full. Look at the Map decide where you like to be.
They are all priced different.

We have a 40' fifth wheel and stayed in 1433 in June. It was a great site,easy to get in and close to everything. 1400's are Preminum.

We had site 1219 a few weeks back. It was a premium site. At first they sent us to the 600 loop but it was very open with hardly any shade. When I asked for something different, they sent us to 1219. These sites were pretty long. We have a 31' motorhome and there was a lot of room left. there were very big class a motorhomes near us and it looked like they fit just fine. I didn't see anyone having a hard time pulling in. The thing I noticed on our loop was that it was quite empty for the entire time we were there (10 days). Out of I think 24 sites, usually there was only 12 to 14 filled. It was really nice and peaceful. It seemed a little strange because some of the other loops looked really crowded. I am not sure how they decide where to put people. Maybe people requested not to be there since the road is on two sides, but it wasn't very noisy. Comfort station was really close and so was bus stop and store.
