Ice at Ft Wilderness?

Is there a preferred place to buy it there?

Leaving on the 12th and I think my need for chilled drinks will be immense!

It's $2.00 a bag at the Meadow Trading Post. There is an ice machine at the comfort stations also, but ours was broken. It was also $2.00 at the ice machine. I'm not sure if it comes out in a bag or if you need a container for the ice. If you buy it at the ice machine, you need quarters.

There is ice at every comfort station. There are bags provided to fill with ice, however, always, I repeat always have the bag ready when you put the money in and have a second bag ready as well. We always seem to get more than a bagful.

Or hop in your cart and drive over to Wilderness Lodge and get it for free... no, bad idea. Nevermind

We figured out quickly that more ice comes out than fits in the bags provided and started bringing a clean trash bag with us to make sure we got ever last cube. :thumbsup2

Man ain't that the truth and I just take the ice chest up there and put in under the shoot. Once you push in the plunger with the quaters in it the ice comes out like "RIGHT NOW" and I've never been able to do the two bagger since how in the world do you switch bags instantaneously :confused3 :rotfl2:
