Hello, I was just wondering about the laundry facilities at CBR. We are staying there for a week and I would like to know if it will be possible to freely throw a load or two in quickly while we take breaks from the park to swim or whatever? I packed WAY too much last time and we didn't need a lot of what we packed. Also, I know we are planning to do some shopping while we are in Orlando and I want to leave some suitcase space for that as well. Any advice would be appreciated.

I did SEVERAL loads while we were there last week! There are laundry rooms at each of the "quiet" pools. You need your room key to get in. I would suggest taking your own detergent - I stocked up on the tablet form of Wisk and Dryer Sheets and packed them in my suitcase. To buy it at the laundry room costs $1 per load for each. It's $2 to wash and $2 to dry. I took a load in whenever we went to the quiet pool, returned in about 45 minutes to move clothes from washer to dryer, then went back after another hour or so to pick them up.
The only problem I had was on one morning I got up early to go get a couple of loads done and the change machine wasn't working. I tried 2 other laundry rooms before I finally walked to OPR to get change.

When we are at CBR I usually wash and dry clothes while I swim, since everything is right there, it works out real well. Just toss the clothes in, have fun swimming, toss them in the dryer, have fun swimming and tanning, then send DH to fold......doesn't THAT sound like a good plan? He may not think so :)

That sounds great! My DH will love that suggestion. Actually he doesn't mind that too much. It will really help to have laundry facilities close by because I have an almost 1 year old who can go through an outfit or two a day easily. Now I know that I can pack lighter. Thanks for the replies!

Naisy68, I believe that my husband has done laundry in every WDW resort that we have stayed in (and that is quite a few). I don't have a photo of the inside of one of the facilities, but I do have a photo of the exterior of it (it just so happens to be in one of my quiet pool photos of the resort). Click here for photo.
