Boat rentals- Castaway Cay?

What kinds of boats are there and what are the rates? Can you go around the entire island or is it restricted? Thanks for the help.

There are a variety of small watercraft available for rent. You pretty much stay in one cove area, they tell you not to go beyond certain boundaries.

Here are the prices for a 1/2 hour rental:

Paddle Boats (2-Seater $8; 4-Seater $10)
Sea Kayak (1-Seater $8; 2-Seater $10)
Aqua Fin $15
Aqua Trike $15
Hobie Cat $18

Kids must be at least five to go and children under age 13 must have an adult with them to rent.

On the second day - (we got to go twice due to some bad weather on the first day)- that we were at Castaway Cay they were being very restrictive with the boat rentals due to winds and waves. They said that you had to have at least 5 years experience to rent a Hobie Cat and at least 3 years (I think it was 3 years ) experience to rent a kayak. I just wanted to let you know that this can happen - I didn't know that and we were disappointed when we couldn't rent a kayak. Well I guess we could have but the lifeguards would have been angry when they had to rescue us ;)
