Starting to pack...do I need to bring our own towels for islands other than Castaway Cay? Trying to avoid it...they take up sooo much room!

No, you don't need to bring your own.
The ship will provide them as needed for the shore excursions. In fact, they will REMIND to to be sure to bring some along..........
Have fun!!!!!!!

I was just wondering how the towels are...don't get me wrong I am not a towel snob. But I do like to be comfortable. Will I be ok if I plan on renting beach chairs and just using the towels to dry off. How big are they ?
What about Castaway Cay - should I bring my large beach towels for this day ?

They are definitely not the large, cushy beach towels. On Castaway Cay, hubby and I each ask for two because I like to use them as pillows and cushioning when I lay out to read...one would not be enough.
If you have cruised before, the current Castaway Club gift is a nice beach towel.
