View Full Version : Are appetizers still part of dining plan?

Sorry - I've never done the dining plan before. If we do it, we will be paying full price. We would probably go with the 3 meals a day since we like the signature restaurants and need two coupons for one of those meals. However, we don't always get dessert and I usually enjoy appetizers.

So, just the one question - I thought I read way back that appetizers are no longer included in the plan (even the deluxe one) but I thought the disney lady on the phone today said appetizers are included.

So what's the truth?

Thanks!

Appetizers are included with the Deluxe Plan.. Gratuities (tips) are not.

On the basic plan, only children ages 3-9 get appetizers included - but they are kids' menu appetizers, not regular appetizers. Children can't order from the main menu on the dining plan.

On the deluxe plan, everyone gets table service appetizers, except at breakfast. (Appetizers aren't included for counter service).

There isn't a "3 meals a day" plan - the deluxe plan gives you 3 meal credits per NIGHT you stay at your resort, not per day. You can use the credits anytime during the trip, but if you stay 7 nights at your resort and have 8 days in the parks, you receive credits per person based on 7 nights, not 8 days. So, on the deluxe for 7 nights, each person would receive 21 meal credits to use throughout the trip, and when they're gone they're gone.
