Does anyone know how frequently cash discounts are available and the amount of the discounts?

Availability is unpredictable. The amount is 25% off rack rate. The discount only applies to DVC properties, not any of the other WDW resorts. It also seems that if you find a discount that is less through some other source, MS will usually match that amount. But, any reservation made through MS will have DVC housekeeping (not daily).
