Just got my latest issue of D23...

it included a D23 exclusive to "celebrate the first expansion of Disneyland on June 14, 1959." This exclusive includes 6 patches featuring "the opening of six spectacular new attractions: Matterhorn Bobsleds, Disneyland-Alweg Monorail System, Submarine Voyage, Fantasyland Autopia, Motor Boat Cruise, and Skyway Thru Glacier Grotto."

This is the second Disney typo I've seen recently. There was a Buzz Lightyear towel sold at the Disney stores that had to be immediately marked down to $5.99 because it said "Bozz Lightyear" instead.

I have to say I was extremely excited about the patch until I read there were 6 and we were only getting 1. As someone who collects things it makes me crazy.:confused3 I like to have complete sets of things.:rotfl:
I won't look a gift horse in the mouth, but I wish they would make the other 5 available for purchase.

And on the typo, that is completely crazy. I can say as someone who does embroidery it is easy to make a typo, but there should be someone checking these right?

I have finished hand-writing many cards thanking people for attending my mother's funeral and sharing in our grief, sending flowers, helping with luncheon, etc.

I kept spelling memorial as memorail. Maybe I really wanted to be on the monorail!

Just an FYI... there are quite a few of these patches on eBay and except for maybe the misspelled monroail patch, most of them seemed pretty reasonable. I just bid on a D23 pin with Gus Gus sleeping in Cinderella's shoe. It was really cute and I couldn't resist!
