Not sure if this has been asked before; but every time I try searching the forum it all freezes up on me and I end up having to close my browser and open up a new window.
I was wondering if on the deluxe dining plan, if you can order smoothies, cappuccinos or even non-alcoholic versions of bar drinks (like pina colada, daqaris, etc.) as your drink option at table service restaurants?

Deluxe or Basic doesn't really make a difference here. Technically the plan simply says "non-alcoholic beverage" and items that come in a keepsake container are typically excluded. Beyond that, it's up to the restaurant (and sometimes server!) in question, but typically milkshakes and smoothies are allowed and I'd be surprised to see coffee drinks excluded.
Virgin bar drinks are another matter -- I just don't know one way or the other.

It's not automatically the policy...really depends on individual restaurants. We were allowed smoothies at Le Cellier; milkshakes at The Wave. The smoothies were limited to two specific choices on the menu (not just any virgin adult beverages) The milkshake choices were chocolate or vanilla. There were no refills on these drinks (you do get unlimited refills on the regular beverages.) Everywhere else we've been (and it's a lot of places, lol...see reviews below) The drink choices were coffee, tea or sodas. Only asked about cappacino at a couple of places but was told no, that was ala carte. Most places the specialty coffees were priced considerably higher than regular coffee, tea or soda, so I can see why they wouldn't allow it. Specifically, we were told no about cappacino at Kona Cafe, Les Chefs,Mama Melrose and Coral Reef. Smoothies - we were told no at 1900 Park Fare, Sanaa, Yak & Yeti, Les Chefs, Mama Melrose, and Rose & Crown. We did end up paying for smoothies at most of those places cuz the girls wanted them:):rolleyes1
Some people report being allowed to get milkshakes at Sci Fi as their DP beverage, others say they got the milkshake as their dessert...and I think I've seen report that smoothies were allowed at Coral Reef? Your best bet is to just ask your server if they're allowed.

Was on the DxDDP from June 26 to July 4 - we were consistently offered smoothies, milkshakes, non alcoholic bar drinks (like virgin pina coladas and daquiris). I don't recall being offered specialty coffee drinks but it doesn't hurt to ask.

We've gotten smoothies/milk shakes at Whispering Canyon, 50's Prime Time, the Wave, Le Cellier, and Kona. We've gotten virgin drinks at Konas, Flying Fish, and California Grill.
