I know that water park tickets are quite a bit less expensive than the regular park tickets but if I wanted to trade a theme park ticket for a water park ticket could I? We have annual passes plus several one day tickets I have had to purchase to get promotional prices. The kids really want to do a water park this trip (we leave tomorrow yeah!) but I'd rather not have to purchase additional tickets after shelling so much out for the AP's (I do realize that I can save the extra 1 day passes for our renewal...but we have quite a few). We'll only be spending one day in the water park so I don't think it's worth upgrading all 6 of our passes to waterparks and more for that one day. Thanks!!

no.
You have to either get the WP&M add on feature, or buy a single day ticket at the gate of whichever waterpark you decide to visit. We have only gotten the WP&M option once, we spent a day at TL, but went 3 or 4 times to DQ. We got our money's worth, I thought. We usually only stay 4-5 nights on our trips, so we never really have time for those things. Once we stayed 8 nights, and that is why we upgraded the tickets that time.

But, give Disney a call and check. Never hurts to ask!

no, you can't. I tried to exchange a MNSSHP for a 1 day pass - offered to pay the difference in ticket prices- I think she wanted to laugh me off the phone. :rotfl:

If it is nothing but a one-day pass, I believe you can. At least I think I remember a thread on the theme park board where Cheshire Figment (who works selling tickets and is the biggest ticket guru ever, even at WDW) said it is possible. However, you do not get a refund and the theme park ticket is considerably more. Trading a major for a minor theme park is quite a bit different than trying to trade a hard ticket event.

You might want to ask on the theme park board though and get Cheshire Figments reply. He replies to all ticket questions.
