View Full Version : What do I do with one extra TS credit?

My family of 5 is going to WDW on the DDP. One night we plan to head back to the hotel early, swim in the pool and order room service pizzas. We figured 2 pizzas would be more than enough for our family, meaning that we would be using 4TS credits. We'd normally use all 5 of our TS credits. So at the end of the week I'll be left with one lonely TS credit.

What can I do with that? And will it be a kids credit left over (we have 4 ad, 1 kid on the DDP)? Can we have it traded into snack credits? Or????

Can you use the extra TS credit on a breakfast?

Oops, sorry, I didn't understand what OP was saying...:confused3
I don't know if you can trade in TS credits for snacks..

I don't think you can trade for snacks.

We've had extra kid TS credits before- we usually end up just eating at one of the less expensive sit-downs, and paying out-of-pocket for the adults.

On our last trip we did what Alice28 suggests. We went to breakfast and paid OOP for all but the TS credits we had left.

Personally, I would skip the room service pizza and get counter service for 5 to take out by the pool (assuming that it's during free dining and disney does the TS to CS exchange again). You will probably get better food- the room service pizza ts credit exchange doesn't seem to be a good value- and this way everyone gets a dessert too.

I would use it for breakfast.

Can't you go get pizza at the food court yourself and just use 2 CS credits per pizza?

Yeah, I believe you would really be losing out on the "value" of the DDP to waist that many credits on "okay" tasting pizza.

If you are at POR go to the food court and get pizza there to take back to the room :)

I didn't think about doing that. But then we'd be using CS credits and not TS credits and I really don't think we want to fit another TS into our schedule. That's one reason why we were thinking of pizza delivery.

I think using 4 TS credits for two room service pizzas is a waste of TS credits. I would book a dinner instead.

Can you use it for a "to go" meal and save for a later snack? I do not know if table rests. will fix a "to go" but it is worth asking. Or can you trade it for a counter meal and again, save for a later snack?

How about just a TS dinner at your resort? Or trade the TS credits for CS, I think they let you do that? Wolfgang Puck Express has the best pizza...

I would go visit my concierge and ask to have the TS credits converted to CS credits. Pick up CS pizza for by the pool. and have the extra CS meal for a snack later.

I agree or just buy oop the pizzas and use the 5TS for a breakfast at Boma or Crystal Palace.

This is essentially what I want to do when we are there first week of Free Dining. We're using 2 TS for my wife an I to go on Date Night(anniversary dinner) and the kids were oing to get pizza in the room..but it messes things up because I have 2 disney adults and 1 disney child...which would make us on adult TS short and 1 child TS full. I want to just exchange the TS's for CS's and snacks but Disney hasn't announced yet if they are doing that this year. Just because they have in the past doesn't mean they will this year. Hope they announce soon, so I can remove one more item from my stress list.

Hmmm, I think your idea of using the TS on pizza is good. If you don't want the stress of a TS meal, don't book one. I think people stress "Getting the value" out of the credits. Don't do that. Do what works best for your family.
I'd say go to your concierge and see if they'll convert the TS to snack credits or a CS credit, and then get something to go with your pizza with that credit. Maybe a resort food court salad? Or a last-day extra breakfast that can be shared-- cinnamon bun?
