A note to say we'll be praying and that is no small thing! A word of encouragement - way back in 1968 I was born two months early - came through great though I was in the hospital for 6 weeks. My mom always said I was in a hurry to get here and have been in a hurry ever since!

My friend's son was born more then ten weeks premature. He fit lengthwise into the palm of his Daddy's hand. He's now taller then his mom and heading off to university next month.

My DD was born at 28 wks and weighed in at 2lbs 11 oz and right now we are getting ready to start Kindergarten and make our second trip to the world. Give them all the love and support you can for it is a long road, but worth every second of worry. Keep us updated on the girls.

Thank you all for all your thoughts and prayers for their family. It hurts me that all I can do is pray from here in Atlanta when they are in Colorado Springs.

Both girls are doing well. They are on ventilators and have feeding tubes. They are receiving light therapy often. Their skin looks so fragile and transparent. They are little fighters. Dad finally got to touch his baby girls last night.

Mom is doing great as well. She is getting some well deserved rest.
