Anyone think that Le Celier should be turned into a signature dining and cost 2TS?

I was just thinking about this earlier today. Yes, it absolutely should be switched over, with the primary reason being supply & demand. It's gotten so hard to get, Disney might as well make it 2 TS. They'll still sell it out with non-ddp people like me.

NO WAY! It's good food, but no way is it a signature dining experience! There are numerous 2 TS places if people want that kind of meal...don't make any more of them.

There is nothing on the menu that warrants signature dining.

No, beacuse it's not that good. It's like a cramped and crowded celler (hence the name), and the menu is boring and limited. It doesn't live up to the Signature restaurants at all.

Neither does the Brown Derby.

Nope. The food is good, but not great. The service is usually just okay. I would not give 2 TS credits for it.

Not at all. I don't think it's at the level of a signature restaurant.

One of the reasons it's hard to get into is because it's small. That doesn't warrant being a signature restaurant.

Years ago I would have thought it a Signature Restaurant but the quality of food has dropped so I don't think it really stands out anymore.

No. Neither the food nor the atmosphere warrant classifying this restaurant as a signature.

no way.... name one Signature restaurant that is equal to Le Cellier. Disney would be dumbing down their Signature restaurants if they did. Le Cellier is decent...but hands down no where near the caliber of the Sigs

The last two times we were there I didn't even think it rated 1TS. Long wait times with ADRs, less than adequate service, and the food was below average. I know a lot of people love this restaurant, but we won't go back.

I agree it should not be rated a signature restaurant.

How about replace the Brown Derby with Le Celier

When the dining plan first started, Le Cellier was a 2 credit restaurant - so was Coral Reef. They were changed to one TS. Not likely either will be changed back.

Yes, I think it should be a 2 credit restaurant. I agree with the person who sait it should be for supply and demand purposes. I guess I do not see a difference between Le Cellier and Yachtsman Steakhouse (which is 2 credits).

I don't think any are worth 2 TS credits, so I voted no...

Certainly from a pricing perspective, yes. But, I'd estimate that no more than 5% of the people dining there these days are paying out of pocket for Le Cellier. Why? Because there are much better places to eat for the price. It's a good choice on the DDP.

Let's not give them any ideas, Okay?;)

IMO, HBD is much better than LC. We think it holds it's own, quality wise, with the other signatures. The only noticeable difference is the price.

My thoughts exactly. My vote is it should be a signature restaurant. If they're going to charge the prices, they should up the quality & make it worth the price. As it is now, it's only a good value for those on DDP, & that's an inflated value. I really don't understand why anyone paying OOP would dine there, but to each it's own.

I agree with tarheel... HBD is much better than LC. Their menu is definitely more 'robust' than LC

It's just not that good in atmosphere or the menu for it to be a signature.

I think HBD and Le Cellier are BOTH only 1 credit worthy. They just don't rank up there with Jiko, CA Grill, Citricos, Flying Fish or Narcoossees.

No.First , It is not that good to warrant it.Second , it is in World Showcase and none of the other WS restaurants are 2 TS.I think that some of the other WS restaurants are far better.

You read my mind!!!!:cool2:...And it really lacks something in the ambiance category!...I appreciate shade on a hot day, but it's a bit like dining in the POTC line (which is great for the ride), without the space!

No way, it's not as classy as some of the other restaurants offered on the signature plan or really as fancy.
