Will our guests be able to work out for free?

We will be heading down to BWV next week:) . We have four family members joining us who are not DVC members. Will they be able to use the work out room free of charge? I understand their room key will say DVC member (right?), but they obviously won't have DVC membership cards. Is that going to matter? Thanks!

Perks like this usually apply to DVC Members and their guests. In this case the important thing is that the room key says DVC Member" (which it will).

The benefit is supposed to be for DVC members only, but in the past they have only checked the room key.

Our family members had no problem using the gym when staying with us.

My SIL had no trouble using the workout facility when she stayed with us, even when she went down alone.

My understanding is that guests staying with a member are entitled to all the same benefits as the member.

Officially, it is RENTERS that are not entitled to member benefits, even though in practice, the CMs seem to treat renters as though they were guests of members.
