Hotel Royal Plaza or Caribe Royale

Any advice? I originally chose the Caribe because of the free breakfast. Now with the mousesavers offer on Hotel Royal Plaza I'm debating. I'm traveling with 2 14 year old boys so I would have to buy one breakfast at the HRP so it would make the room prices basically identical. Any idea which hotel the kids would like better? Which has a better location? Help!!

The bus service is MUCH better with HRP but CR is a better location if you have a car. CR gives you a 2 room suite and a better pool. If you have a car I'd go with CR otherwise HRP.

Isn't Hotel Royal Plaza in DTD and Caribe Royal "out" of Disney down the road a little past HIFS. I thought I remembered seeing it in August.

Caribe Royale is outside of Disney, but it never took us longer than 20 minutes to get to the parks.
We stayed there in Oct. 2000 and loved it. Very clean, large rooms, great buffet breakfast and good shuttles.
I can highly recommend it.
Oh yeah, they also had an incredible pool which all the kids seemed to love although we never got a chance to try it. :D

No contest in terms of quality. Caribe Royale is head and shoulders a nicer hotel than HRP. But the one thing HRP has going for it is the on-property location.

Caribe Royale is beautiful.

I think I'll keep the reservations at Caribe. I am renting a car and could care less whether I'm on property or not. You guys are great!
