Just wanted to share- 5k yesterday

Hi all! I had a 5k yesterday at the Jazz and Ribs Fest in Downtown Columbus. I shaved 3 minutes off my normal 5k time!!!! AND the course was really hilly! I'll share pictures and info about it in my blog tomorrow, once my sister sends me a couple of pictures. I came in in the 37:00 area, which I'm normally in the 40:00's. CRAZY. I pushed myself really hard, and really had to keep track of my heart rate monitor because it was so hot and hilly that my hr was up to 193-197 at times. TOO HIGH. So I had to walk some too- more than normal. I did represent with some mickey socks, but they gave me a blister :sad2:

HAHA thanks for catching that! I completely missed it.

I tell you what, when we were at Dis the last time, DH wore his Buckeyes jacket every single day and we got more OH-es.... LOUD OH-es!!!... even from CM's!! Too funny.

Thanks for catching it! I miss Ohio! I lived in Sylvania, Liberty Center and Perrysburg - my Mom is still there in Sylvania as is my sister and her daughters. DH is a born and raised buckeye from Perrysburg.
