I already have free dining with a PIN code. Who thinks the AP will be extended to the GP? I know there are several threads about free dining, but a room discount would benefit me more. Who else is looking for this???:goodvibes

I am most definitely hoping for this! I have a Disney Visa, but am not arriving until the 18th, so I can not get the free dining. I am really, really hoping that the AP room discount will be extended to the GP since it applies to arrivals through the 24th!
Does anyone know if the AP room discounts are normally extended to the public?

I also want the AP discount to come out for the GP. I only want one night at a value to tack onto our WL stay. I got WL this spring with a 40% pin and the pin started on a Sunday. I would like to arrive on Saturday and stay at a value and wander DTD for the evening then move to WL with my package. So free dining will not help at all.
Is there any change they would offer both, were you ould pick if you wanted the room only discount or free dining?

I am pretty sure you cannot stack discounts that way. The posters on the disney visa thread are reporting that they have to choose between the pin the already have or the visa deal.

I would certainly benefit with a room discount! FD will not mean much as we find the food portions to be too large for us, so we tend to share. I'm so hoping for a discount like last year... Think it was 40%! What a deal!!

We already had a FD pin, so this doesn't help us at all. Since we are staying at Poly, MK view a room discount would give us about twice the savings. It's funny, of couple of people reported CM's telling them that the discount that was coming would be something "big". Not that I'm ungrateful for a savings, but I wouldn't call FD, something Disney does all the time, as "something big", especially after all of the FD pins that have been received by people in the last couple of weeks. :confused3
