From what I've seen of it, it really has some great features. I'm disappointed that I didn't know about this upgrade BEFORE I bought Version 1 in April though. I think another $30 is a bit high for someone who has had the program for less than 6 months. But, that's just me. I know that they are in business to make money, but I think they could have handled it better.

I know - I bought it two months ago on Mothers Day - mid May!
Oh, well - win some, lose some...it is a great program and I'm enjoying learning more about how to use it. I'll have to wait for the Mac version anyway -
Funny - just the other day (when working on my Disney ABC swap), I was grumping around about not being able to "group" and copy/paste multiple words to weld and cut. These features should make titles a lot easier to chug out.

I love the program and I'm sure the features are well worth the cost of the upgrade, but I would have like to have been fully informed, you know? I'll probably buy it, but I'll complain about it :lmao:
I have had the first version for almost a year now so I will have to pay the $30 for the new version no matter what.
I thought that $30 was a lot at first, but then I started playing with the trail version 2.0 and decided it was worth it no matter what.

Thanks for posting this. I'd like to get the new version. Anyone know what the proof is that is required? I'd hate to get started and then realize I don't have everything I need.

You just need your serial number. If you go to this page (http://www.craftedge.com/purchase/purchase.html) on the website, there's a place to verify your current version, then they send you a coupon code. I'll probably upgrade this week. There have been some issues, I guess, but they are quick to respond and already have released a couple updates.

Ahhhh -- where would I look to find the serial number?

THanks so much...DH usually takes care of this kind of stuff. I would never have thought to look under HELP.

If they sent you the disk, it is on the insert.
I did just email them. I will be spending $90 on something that would be $75 if I would have known to wait. $15 is $15. Know how much paper I could buy when it is on sale??
Not sure if they will respond, but I do feel better letting them know how I feel.

I emailed them too...let's just say they are not open to people who just bought it paying less than the $30 upgrade. :sad2:
I'm torn, I LOVE the program, but I'm peeved at their customer relations. I'm not asking for a free upgrade, I just want to pay a "fair" price for it.

I have the disk...guess I better find it.
I have had my program for over a year now, so I am ok with the upgrade price.
