Wish I could see anything streaming at work. I can't wait to get home and see this. Everyone has been sending me links as a big tease!

I can't wait for the D23 Expo. Rumor is we'll get a very long (15min) preview of the film, as well as Rapunzul and PATF.

Soulmate huh? What does the hubby think about that? ;)
Our 3rd lover is Hugh Jackman. If he only knew about us....

DH isn't dark and twisty enough to be my soulmate. I figure after almost 19 years we have pretty much both come to terms with that. ;)

Hmmm.... I always hated Alice in Wonderland.... but this, THIS looks very interesting... If it involves Johnny Depp and Tim Burton, I am interested... ;)

I believe the book's author wrote it under the influence. I have a feeling this movie might also be better watching it that way. :confused3:banana:

I'm probably the only person on this board that finds the surreal kinda creepy and disturbing. Or is that redundant? :confused3 So needless to say, Alice has never been on my list of faves. I doubt this version will make my list, either.

But Princess and the Frog? :goodvibes I am SO THERE, baby! Can't wait for December!

I love Alice, and Tim Burton, but lately I feel like he's been a little bit off his game. Willy Wonka was ok, and Big Fish was cute, but I don't think he's done anything recently that made me feel the way Edward Scissorhands does. Lets hope he comes through!

THe preview looks good. Finally a remake of the movie that at least looks like it's somewhat true to the book.

It's actually a sequel to the book. Alice returns to Wonderland years after her first visit.

I had heard that. I guess that makes it more like American McGee's Alice.

I also love ES but can never get over Winona in a blond wig.

Actually, the only Tim Burton film I am not wild about was Planet of the Apes. The make up was incredible but just didn't really enjoy it.
