My dad is having knee replacement today. He has been in a lot of pain the last few years. Last year I posted that he had a heart attack on June 28th and then had triple bypass on October 1st. He has been through a lot in the last year. Hopefully this will be the last operation for him for a while. Please think good thoughts for him today. I know I can count on my fellow Dissers for support. Thanks!

His knees must've really been giving him pain - I'm sure he'll (and you'll) feel much better once this is over. The rehab will take a while, but once he's past that, he's gonna be so glad he did it! (My father-in-law is.)
The surgery is the hard part - especially on you. You're in my thoughts...:flower3:

You'll be amazed how good he feels after the knee replacements. My father put them off for years and was really limited in what he could do. Since his knee replacements he is able to get around with zero pain and chase the grandchildren.

**Update**
My dad made it through the surgery and is doing better than the doctor expected. He is still waiting to get out of recovery and into his own room. Then he will be up and walking later this afternoon......Simply amazing!
