Not at all ... I did the same thing when I was waiting for my D300 to arrive. Well maybe not every few hours but twice a day at least.

Nope! I checked constantly when my A350 was shipped. I just wanted it in my hot little hands. I knew immediately when it was delivered. :)

I check all the time once I get a tracking number up to the point it is delivered.
FedEx has a nice iPhone app, I just wish UPS and USPS would work on one as well.

When I ordered my 70-200 last year, I found out it requried a signature. I went by my house and saw that the truck had been there in the previous 10 minutes. I rode through three neighborhoods until I tracked him down!!!!!!!!!!!!
NO I don't check tracking! LOL

I rented a lens this week and it was being delivered today. As I was pulling up the tracking info to check (again), FEDEX rang the doorbell delivering it. When I got back to the computer, a had an email telling me it had been delivered. talk about "real time!"

lol, i purposely changed my plans for today due to buydig saying they needed a signature( and fedex saying they really would need one when i called them to ask) .however, she just left it on the porch and never even knocked:)
tamron 17-50 f2.8, only used it to make sure it worked but looks tack sharp, don't see any ca etc. now it's gonna kill me to get my repaired 70-200( tomorrow they said but no tracking number for that one so it's driving me nuts) and i can't use either of them this weekend due to other plans:eek:
