Where are the credits kept?

I think I read that dining credits are stored on a card? I'm not sure how that works. Would our whole party be on the same card? Would we ever be able to eat seperately? Like my DM take the kids to dinner somewhere and DH and I have a dinner alone?

They are all stored on the card that functions as your room key. Your park tickets will also be stored on them, so each person must have one. All dining credits for the entire reservation are accessible from any key card associated with that reservation, so your party can split up.

PP is right, unless you ask for your kid's card to not have charging privelages. I don't put charging privelages on my DD's card. Just in case (though I carry it the whole time!).

Every receipt you get after using your DDP will say how many credits you used and how many you have left (of the type you are using, i.e.-after spending CS credits you'll see your CS balance)

In addition to the report of credits on your receipts you can go down to the front desk at any time to get a print out of how many credits you have used and how many you have left for all your credit types. Always good to check at least a couple of days before the end of your trip so you don't leave snack credits or QS credits unused. This is especially important if more than one person is paying as it is very easy to loose track of what has been used.

Also, save all your receipts so that if/when you do check your credits if you have less or more than you anticipated then you can have them credit your account. I just brought a small envelope to put the receipts in each day and checked them all at the end of the week against my print out to make sure they'd all been subtracted appropriately.
