Mickey Post Light

We were camping recently and another camper in a motor home had a post light outside their rig that was a whie mickey head. Someone said it was homemade but I haven't been able to find any instructions on the internet. Has anyone ever made one of these??? or seen instructions anywhere??? Thanks!

If you go into the camping area on the boards, there is a thread there that tells exactly how to do this. I'm sure if you asked, someone would direct you to the thread. It's not that hard to do, aside from the wiring and there are quite a few cute variations.

Do a search on the camping board there are lots of people on there that have directions and some of them are great. If you like camping at the FT you should join us on the boards there are some great pople on them.

Here is our lamp. DH did two. We used 8" and 6" globes. Found plastic lamp post on sale after Xmas at Dollar General and decided they would be perfect. They come apart into three pieces and are lightweight - except for the bags of sand (or whatever) in the bottom to weight it down. We just threw away the top part and the decorations, improvised a little and wha-la.
