Due Date: September 23 This is when I need to receive your package. The mail by date is September 16 to make sure the package arrives to me on time.

Angels: I will pm you with a reminder if you forget to check in. After 48 hours with no response I will request angels for your spots. If you are going on vacation or will be out of town, please check in early. Please do not sign up for more than you can handle. If you need an angel, please ask for one as soon as possible.

After sign-ups, please pm me your name, DIS name, mailing address, email address and phone number when you sign up (I will only use these in an emergency).

The requirement of this swap is:
1 Title/Topper – options include the standard 8x2 (up to 12x2), tag, borders, letters on squares or other shapes, welded letters. Please double-mat or shadow.
AND
1 element from the list below and embellished at least once, you may embellish more if you like. You may mix and match elements (example: 1 photomat and 1 box = 1 element)

Photo Frames: 2PP for a 4 x 6 photo & the Sizzix dies are ok (you need to crop a bit from the photo to use these.) Two layers on the frame would make the photo seem double matted.
Photo Mats: 2PP for a 4 x 6 photo without cropping. Again, two layers as the photo sits on top of these. Please be sure that your embellishment does not infringe upon the placement of the photo.
Journal Box: 2PP at least a 3x3 writing area, triple matted (the writing area is the 3rd layer) and embellished
Tag: 1 PP large tag 4.5-5 inches, 2 pp if smaller, double matted and embellished another way in addition to either ribbon/fiber or eyelet/brad in the hole. May include both....
Border: 1PP 12 inches long double matted and embellished
Embellished squares: 4PP largest mat should be no larger than 2" minimum 2 layers and embellished
Slide Mounts: 2PP be creative here please
Matchbooks: 1 PP if medium size or lager, 2 pp if mini sized, embellished. Please make sure to enclose a blank page in the matchbook.
Library Pocket and Tag: 1PP embellished, no smaller than to hold a 2x3 tag embellished and should also have ribbon/fiber or eyelet in the hole
Shaker Box: 1PP be creative please
Paper Piecing: 1PP be creative please (not a single layer diecuts)
License Plate: 1PP be creative please
Signage/Bookmark: 1PP 2x6, double matted and embellished
Song/Lyric/Poem: 1PP, double matted and embellished, print area should be no smaller than 2-1/2 x 2-1/2, can be larger
Altered CD: 1PP be creative please
Altered letter: matted at least 4 inches
Altered Paper Clips: 3 large size ones

Please, no hand lettering on any items. You may use computer fonts, rub-ons, stamps, die cut letters, etc.

Embellished means adding something extra beyond the requirements. You can add an extra layer of paper, metal embellishments, ink, paper tearing, dry or heat embossing, flock, flowers, skittles, ribbon or fibers, matted flat stickers or dimensional stickers, or use stamps. This is not an all inclusive list. I am sure there are other ways of embellishing and I’d love to hear your idea. All elements should be double-matted and embellished some other way unless otherwise noted!! If you don’t know if yours is, ask me.

Packaging: Place your completed elements in a Ziploc bag THAT FITS YOUR ELEMENTS (the bag MUST close) with your DISname, name and group letter. Do not address your items to a particular swapper. (That makes it harder for me to sort!) Your label should look like this

Take all of your baggies for a group and place them in GALLON size (or larger) bag, and label with the same. Please use the gallon bag (or larger) -- your items may fit in a smaller bag, but the items you receive back might not.
Please include a return address label -- either a USPS priority mail label that you have addressed, or the little ones you would put on envelope. (This cuts down on errors.)

Mailing: You may send to me, by any method you choose unless you are mailing after September 9 [note this is before the mail by date]. Then, you must mail Priority WITH Delivery Confirmation. I prefer to send to you using flat rate boxes/envelopes. Please include enough postage in your package for return shipping. The rates are: Envelope or Small Box (9”x6”x2”) - $4.95, Standard box – $10.35, Large - $13.95. I won’t require Delivery Confirmation, UNLESS you are sending to me AFTER September 9. If you want your items shipped to you with DC, please include the $.70, and a filled out slip. I will not mail the items back with delivery confirmation unless you include the $.70. And I am not responsible to for postal errors.

DO NOT include clik-it/ship-it postage. I will not be able to use it since it is only good on the day it was printed, and from the location it was printed.

Just a heads up that a bunch of changes were made today with a couple of people needing to drop groups they signed up for. So, if you had looked previously and a certain topic was taken, it might be available now.

I did move 2 swappers to a different group or theme:

AWM, you were in group M1 (boys-dirty), but I've moved you into Group M (boys-dirty) since that spot opened in M.

MissesDisney, I changed your theme in Group R. When you signed up, you said you wanted Smile for the Camera, but it was taken and I put you in Showing Off. Well, Smile for the Camera became open so I moved you to that.

Everyone who has already signed up, please look over the groups and make sure I didn't accidentally delete you from where you wanted to be.

MissesDisney, I moved "Smile for the Camera" to Group L - Girls. If you don't like that spot, let me know and we can move it to another group that only has 3 or get rid of it altogether.

Rebecca, I deleted Group O since it was just the 2 of us and I can do without that group and you said you didn't mind if we deleted it.

AWM and Momx3boys, I joined Group P and changed the topic to Bird/Butterflies/etc (I don't know what I'm going to do) so that group is up to 3 now.

MissesDisney, I moved you from Laugh in Group M to Laugh in Group M1 so that I could do both groups and have them both full.

Everyone, the next check-in for this swap is 8/19. I have made no progress on this swap. I'm trying to finish up the AK swap and then will work on this one. I've got ideas, but that's as far as I've gotten!

I have everything cut for my 3 groups. With DH away, nothing on TV and no sports practices, I can get a whole lot done a night! I have finally mastered the art of setting the cricut to cut and getting something else done.

1. Dont Feed The Animals:

This group took me a week to complete. The title is the sign that reads "dont feed the animals". It is a different take on a title, but I thought it was a cute idea. First I had a gorilla hanging on the sign. I thought it looked cute, the dh said it was ugly, the next morning I agreed. Each photo mat will have a different chipboard animal on it. There are 2 different journal boxes as well.

2. Cake A Lious:

The titles all read the same,but some lower and capital letters are different. This is the first time I got to use my drippy goo punch. As you can see I used it a lot.

The photo mats I sent along the cut out from the middle so you could use it to cut out a photo to fit perfectly or you could just undo the brads holding the top layer on. The titles are matted on different colors (use up some of the stash scrap).

I need to tag and bag these and then my AK pages then they will be on their way.

I ... the blonde in me... :rotfl:totally mispelled my play on words for delicious and subbing cake-a-licious. So here are my new titles.. hopefully spelled correctly this time. However I did not have enough of my thickers in this color to fix them correctly so there are 2 titles of each below:

These are my 3 sets. Are they ok? Hope so cuz Id like to mail tomorrow!:goodvibes
1) Christmas: The letters can be straightened out, I didnt want the stamping "perfect" because if youve ever seen the white on pyracantha/holly its not and I kind of wanted a more rustic feel. The snowman is not yellow, thats because of the flash. He's a metal brad. And the writting of the lyrics is red and gree, every other word and I habd stickled the flowers.

2) On the road again: The brads all have road/travel pics on them. The paper ribbon can be removed. And its supposed to be a boarder. I think it will look cute with NM's luggage.

3) I wanted a patchy feel so the letters on Pumpkin Patch are not perfectly shadowed. If you turn the tag over there is a little place for a note, like in the Tag book swap. The brads will be slightly different as well as the tags due to the way the paper cut.

I kid you not, our "Pumpkin farm" that we used to have would have their pumpkins shipped in from Columbia and then the employees would take the pumpkins out and put them in the field! It was still aneat place and you could get farm goods there. Its just too hot here for "real" pumpkins.
I was thinking of kids parties, etc, for the topper. Glad you like it!

Thanks! My original idea was to do Bear Hugs, but I just couldn't find what I wanted to use to make it work. I was looking through my papers to see if I could come up with another idea and found this octopus paper and thought it would work great for kids and hugs since sometimes when kids give you hugs it feels like they've wrapped 8 arms around you!!!:rotfl:

Dress up.

I used the whitewash co'ordinations paper for the backgrounds of everything. Also on the small box is a 3rd layer of vellum for writing on. If need be i can change it to a smaller square of white or pink.

Yesterday, I received packages from: JohnsonsLoveDisney, MissesDisney, and Momx3boys!!! Everything looks wonderful and thank you for the gifts. I haven't had a chance to take photos yet, I'll try to get that done today and will let you know when the slideshow is updated.

I will try to get these sorted tonight or tomorrow to those that aren't also in the AK swap.

My box arrived safely! I opened and peeked to make sure it was what I thought it was, but that was as far as I got. Only home 3 days a week now that I am traveling again and I just didn't get to it. Can't wait to take a look at it all when I get home this weekend again!
