My granddaughter is having her 8 yr. old birthday party. I would like to make her guests that will be sleeping over, something special for all the girls to wear, possibly a T-Shirt with Carley design, or nightshirt, not sure yet what to do. If anyone has other suggestions or ideas for the party, I would appreciate it. Also, looking for Carley designs.
ALSO, my grandson is having his 6 yr old party. Any suggestions for designs for him and his friends. Not sure what the boys are into these days.
Thanks for your help and suggestions.

You could make fun favors as well like candy bar wrappers, sucker wrappers or candy tents with her favorite candy in them. You could also make a music CD with her favorite songs to give out. What is the theme for both parties?
The best website for throwing children's birthday parties is www.birthdaypartyideas.com Look in the tab for children's parties and then find the theme your grandchild is having. Mom's post what they did and you will find great ideas for decorating, food, games, favors, etc. There will be tons to look at...I usually look at the winners and honorable mentiones as they tend to be the most detailed.

Great ideas. I'm not sure of the theme for my GS who is 6 yrs old. Any suggestions what they may be into? Star wars, Wall-E????
I'm thinking of doing a Carley theme for my GD (8yrs old). Also do you know who may be the designers for Carley, so that i may contact them? Any samples of Carley designs I can look at? Where can i find samples of Carley candy wrappers, tents, etc.
I really appreciate your help, and thanks for your response.

What is Carley? I could make a few favors (other than t-shirts...not my thing) but I'm not certain what Carley is... Is it "I Carly" on nickelodeon?
For 6 year old boys you could have a sports themed party, Cars, pirates...ask him what he likes or what his favorite shows are.

Yes, I apologize. It is "I-Carley" on the disney channel. I was thinking of a decal for a pillowcase (as it will be a sleepover). I need candy wrapper, that i may use as a thank you favor, also invitation. Any suggestions. As for my grandson, I think i may suggest Super Mario Bros., or Transformer, or Bakugon, and i could do the same for him (pillowcase, invite, candy wrapper, etc.)

Here are two sucker wrappers...will work on a candy bar wrapper after I make dinner and get the family fed.
To print:
• Open up a word document and click on “file” and in the drop down menu click on “setup”. In the “margins” tab set all of the margins to “.3”. And make sure the orientation is set to landscape.
• Next copy and paste the wrapper into word.
• Then click on "format" and in the drop down menu click on "picture".
• Next go to the "size" tab and set the height to 6.22 inches, then click the “tab” key on your keyboard and the width will automatically correct itself to 2.59 inches.
• Then click "okay".
• If you set your margins correctly, you will be able to get four of these to a page.
• Print out the wrappers and cut out around each image.
• Then use a hole punch to punch out the marked hole.
• Next fold all three lines, slide your sucker through the hole, wrap the wrapper around the sucker and secure with double sided tape.

Here are two candy bar wrappers.
To make:
Open up a word document then go to "file" click on "page setup" and make the top and bottom margin "0" and the left and right margins .5". Click "ignore" when you see the popup that says "...outside of printable area...".
Then copy and paste the image into the document. Click on the image to so that it is highlighted. Then go to "format" then in the drop down menu click on "picture". Go to the size tab and set the height to 5.5 inches and the width to 5.25. You should be able to get two candy bar wrappers per page:

Love the iCarly pics. Sorry i had the wrong spelling.
Quick question.....I apologize for not being upt to date on this!
I assume the candy sucker is a wrapper you put on a lollipop. If so, which is usually used, a round lollipop or a flat. This is all new to me. Sorry!
But i also love the candy wrapper (That i know is for a chocolate candy bar, is that right???LOL) It came out great!!!!

Now worries...I had never heard of the show before your request.
Yes the sucker wrappers are for lollipops. I like the flat kind best but I have used both kinds and they work equally well.
For the candy bar wrapper...the hersheys milk chocolate works best and you don't have to worry about nut allergies if you stick with the milk chocolate.
Here is a potential design for a pillowcase...it is pretty simple...I didn't do much to it. If you can think of something else to put on it, just let me know:

Very cute for the pillowcase. But i'm thinking of something with each of the partygoers names. I thought it would be more appropriate than them having a pillowcase with "Hailey's" name. I will try to think of something and post it.
(I also need to get the guests names)
Maybe something to the effect.......Pleasant dreams from ICarley
or
ICarly wishes
pleasant dreams to
Delaney
I need to check online for thoughts on wording of pillowcase. But i will keep in touch.
Thank you ever so much for your help.
Maybe someone else will chime in and come up with a good saying:love:

Unfortunately neither of your links worked...still not able to see the pic. If you find a picture that you would like used for the pillowcase, make sure that it is an extra large image as you can't increase the size of a picture with out making it look fuzzy/pixilated.

I found this picture and thought it might be cute for the pillowcase design...I couldn't resist her writing "Hailey's 8th birthday party, but I can take it out. Also, Tinkerbella if you like this I can make one for Jasmine as well:

OMG I just LOVE! it. It's exactly what i'm looking for....for the pillowcase. I was online last nite looking for something with slumber party pic. This is so appropriate. When i get the names of the girls which may be in a week or so, can i contact you to put in their names?

Dolly,
I couldn't find the "Haileys 8th..." I just noticed it. I think it's perfect, and so adorable, yet small enough to remain in the photo, and still add each girls names somewhere on the pillow. Please leave that in. It is the cutest thing. I know she'll love it. You're the best!

Sure...if you don't mind send me a pm with your email and I will send the image to you in a word document with a text box at the bottom of the image so that you can change out all of the names as you print each one. Would that work?

left click on the "jtanddolly" to the left of one of the replies and a drop down box will pop up that says something about sending a private message. Let me know if you needed the invitation that I made above as well...if you do send me a pm with the specifics. I know you found some online and may have already picked one out.
