A girlfriend at work gave me a 'money tree' a few years back and I love it! Whenever I go on vacation, I always make sure to leave it with a buddy so it gets water & love. :lovestruc

I received a promotion last March, and ever since the tree has been quickly dying, one stalk a time. :sick: Around that same time, I emptied the planter to wash the rocks, which was something I had never done before. So, while the logical side of me is sure that that's the true cause, I find myself getting paranoid when I look at the sad little tree thinking that something bad is going to happen. :confused: I know it's silly to think like that, but as soon as the higher paying job started, the tree started dying. There used to be 7 stalks, and now I'm down to just 2. :sad1:

We're planning a trip to WDW in the fall and a WDW Wedding in the winter of '10 so this is the last thing I need right now! :rotfl:

Maybe it is actually a "wish tree" and not a "money tree". Now that all of your wishes have come true you don't need it anymore so it is dying in order for it to go and make someone else's wishes come true. :goodvibes
