Update on BBC phone call

Curiouser and curiouser!

I sent off the requested photo yesterday, and have just had another call to say "thanks for the photo".

Then the BBC lady said "I'd just like to ask you one question - how many times have you been to Disney?"

and........ and that was it!

Ooh er - can't wait to find out whether Mapman and Suzanne had the same call!

Shirley - it was a 'competition' on the BBC Holiday programme website. They were looking for nominations for the '50 places to visit before I die'.

As far as I can remember, you could nominate as many places as you wished, but they had to be places you had actually visited, not just fancied going to. You had to support your nomination with reasons why you felt it deserved to be one of the 50 places. Guess where I nominated? ;) :rolleyes:

I think the 'carrot on a stick' was that one of the entrants would be be given a trip to their nominated destination (possibly to report back on it for the programme?).

The website now says that entries are closed, and they will be producing a 1 hour special programme about it.
