We are going to Disney end of Sept 2002. We are planning to stay at the Polynesian Resort mainly because of theme and monorail service. We are taking advance of the Fall Fantasy Rates. We were wondering if the Concerige Rooms would be a better deal. What is the difference? And is it worth the additional money?

If we decide not to, then were should be stay as far a garden view buildings and why?

Has anyone stayed in a king size bed room? Would there be more room or is the two bed room fairly roomy?

As far as the Dinner Show Luau: Is there reserve seating or first come that night gets the better seats. Either way where are the best seats? Would our 7 year old son enjoy it?

We are looking forward to a wonderful Disney Vacation plus hearing from everyone and their advice.

All of the rooms have two queens and a daybed, with the exception of the King Kamehameha Suite, and the two Ambassador Suites.

I've stayed in the concierge building, and really liked the extra services. I'd stay there again.

Seats to the Luau are assigned when you make your reservation. But, they won't tell you where your seats are. The seats are assigned in the order that you make your reservation.

A reservation (guaranteed with a credit card) is required for the Luau. It seems to get mixed reviews, some people really enjoy the entertainment but don't care for the food, and seem people enjoy the whole experience. I haven't tried it yet, but hope to in the near future.

As for good garden view rooms, all I would say is request a balcony. (and non-smoking, of course, unless you smoke, of course. ;) )
