Converting TS to Snack on dxddp

Hi,
We are using the dxddp and from my calculations will have a couple TS leave over. We will be at Coronado Springs. Has anyone ever been able to convert TS to snacks?

If, by your calculations, you have TS credits left over, perhaps you might want to re-think the dining plan altogether? You're paying about $24 per meal credit ($80-$8 snacks/3); are you sure that you're really saving money? Do you really want to spend $24 for a $4 snack, or even 2? Might it not be a better idea just to pay OOP?

Have never heard of anyone converting TS to snacks, nor do I know how many snacks a TS could convert to. That said, you MIGHT have some luck asking your resort concierge.

If you are there during free dining, you might be able to convert TS to CS plus snacks or merchandise. Disney usually allows that property-wide during free dining. Since you are on the deluxe plan, though, your credits are not TS credits but "meal" credits and can be used for either TS or CS.

I'm going during extended free dining (pin code) and was hoping that they'll start allowing the TS for CS+snacks swap option to continue for my dates. That doesn't usually happen though, right?

Right, the TS swap for CS plus extras is only done during the public free dining period (August/September/sometimes early October). If you manage to swap a TS for CS any other time, it'll be a one for one exchange, no extra snacks or merchandise.

Thanks for the info, it is during free dining so I might go ahead and ask. It is due to the number of character meals and shows that makes it worth while for up to do the dxddp. Making a spreadsheet with character breakfast and Signature suppers/shows, we come out far, far ahead. (With an upgrade cost, one adult meal and we break even). However, I am sure that there will be times that we share a meal and with having a couple of little princesses, snacks come in handy.
