who thinks the AA of Barack Obama at the Hall of Presidents doesn't look anything like him? Maybe the videos I have seen doesn't do it justice, but I don't think it looks like him at all. I can't believe all the raves and hype it's getting. No offense to the sculptor, God knows I couldn't do it either, but come on, Disney.

I have personally not seen it yet, but have heard this same thing from others who have. Quite frankly, I am pleased to hear it doesn't look like him, then perhaps I will able to sit through the presentation.;)

We were at the MK Saturday nite & I suggested to my DH that we go to the HOP to see Obama. He said...."WHY? I don't want to see him in real life, nor do I want to see an automatronic of him." Nuff said!!

Hey.. maybe now the Magic Kingdom will have to start selling alcohol?..
That's one way to get my husband to go to MK!! :lmao: Last time he was there we had lunch at Liberty Tree Tavern. While giving our drink order, dh asked what was on tap. The waiter apologized and explained that MK did not serve any alcohol. Dh was very confused by this and asked why not? The very nice waiter told us that MK was the only park to have this rule and it was most likely due to the fact that it is more geared toward the families and the little kids. Without missing a beat, dh returned, "That's why you need it MORE here!" :lmao: I must confess that we saw in MK more than in any other park, the parents with scowls on their faces pushing the strollers with the screaming and crying tots. Dh would just look at me and say, "the happiest place on earth, huh?" :rotfl2:

Just because of the fact that our president is running this country into the ground at break neck speeds does not make this a political thread in my opinion.

I would like to POLITELY request that the female members of this board try to stay on topic.
Pass the Kungaloosh.
I will now be referred to by my Facebook Ghetto name "Peanut."
I still say the AA of Obama doesn't look anything like him, but to answer Al, I have no idea who he looks like, just not my buddy Barack or "Big Daddy B" as he has asked me to call him. He calls me Peanut.
Now I wonder if any of the other presidents look like themselves.
