Pleasantly surprised by BLT models

My DD, DGS, and I visited the Doorway to Dreams at Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg, IL on Thursday. We were the only visitors, and there were 3 CMs giving us their full attention. From the pictures I had seen of the BLT rooms, I thought they appeared cold and unappealing. But after having seen the models at Woodfield, I have changed my mind. The kitchen was more user friendly than I had thought it would be, there's plenty of bathroom space, and the furnishings are comfortable. But what I particularly liked was the art. I hope those pieces will be available for purchase at some point. :thumbsup2

Word is that at least some of the artwork will be available for purchase. Not sure what, but that's what I've heard.

My DH and I felt the same way. The pictures didn't appeal to us but once we saw the model room in person we loved it. :goodvibes

I was on the fence about BLT until I saw the models at DtD. And then I was sold. Didn't hurt that the CM's there are great. Was Derek there when you visited?

We felt the same way when we visited the models in Schaumburg. Far surpassed our expectations. Walking out to the balcony was incredible. I love the way Disney is putting Mickey and Minnie into so much of the decor.

We ended up buying a few days after seeing them and each new video that comes out from people visiting BLT has confirmed that this was the perfect home resort for us.
