Question about check in...

So we will be checking in around 1pm..before the official 4pm check in. We would like to use our dining plan for a early lunch...can we do this? Will they let us get our card for dining or will we have to wait until our room is free?

You can check in any time after 6am. They'll give you your resort ID, which gets you everything except entrance to your room. Once a room is ready your key will be activated for whatever room they give you. The nicer hotels call you with the room # when it's ready....others make you call them.
