Hi everyone! DH is going on business to Europe this week and he is planning to make a weekend trip next weekend (July 24-26) for a little Disneyland Paris!

A few questions:

He will be arriving late Friday night, and could leave either Sat. night or Sunday sometime to head back to business in London. We want to keep this as cheap as possible since he going alone. He is interested in staying onsite (or at the L'Elysée Val d'Europe at Disneyland) to get the extra magic hours... that hotel gets it is that correct?

If he stays onsite or at the L'Elysée Val d'Europe at Disneyland Friday night, then he would check out Sat. AM and go to the park that day. Can he still get the EMH even though he will have checked out? I know you can here, but not sure about over there.

Do you know if you have to book tickets with the room to get the EMH, or do you just have to have a room there?

What about luggage? Is there some kind of "left luggage" place to store your luggage - he will only have a semi-small backpack. Are there lockers at the park?

Are there 1 day hopper tickets? Seems like the UK site shows them, but the regular site from here only has 2 day hoppers.

He was just planning to stay somewhere cheap and farther away, but we're trying to figure out the cheapest way to get the EMH. He will likely leave Saturday night I guess.

Anything else he should know??

Thanks so much!! He is leaving for London on Monday so we are trying to straighten this out! :)

Yes that is correct

If he stays onsite or at the L'Elysée Val d'Europe at Disneyland Friday night, then he would check out Sat. AM and go to the park that day. Can he still get the EMH even though he will have checked out? I know you can here, but not sure about over there.

Again yes that is correct

Do you know if you have to book tickets with the room to get the EMH, or do you just have to have a room there?

You can get EMH if you have room only but it is difficult to get room only without an annual pass

What about luggage? Is there some kind of "left luggage" place to store your luggage - he will only have a semi-small backpack. Are there lockers at the park?

There is a left luggage place in the hotels or at the park entrance or lockers at the station. It is free at the hotels but a charge at the others

Are there 1 day hopper tickets? Seems like the UK site shows them, but the regular site from here only has 2 day hoppers.

The rooms include park tickets

He was just planning to stay somewhere cheap and farther away, but we're trying to figure out the cheapest way to get the EMH. He will likely leave Saturday night I guess.

Anything else he should know??

i would have thought that getting a room only and then having to buy a ticket would work out more expensive.

So can he just book a room at Val D'Europe through expedia or something... and get tickets at the Disney store in London (can he get a 1 day hopper there? or where else would be good to get tickets from?)... then be eligible for EMH?

He is just worried about having to show the room key - will he still have the room key after checking out? We don't know if it is a real "key" or just a card that he could keep.

Thanks so far!!! :)

Ive not stayed at Elysee but at the Disney hotels it is a card but you get an easy pass - paper pass that you show to prove which hotel you are in

Im sure someone at Elysee has said its similar there

Its worth looking at prices with ticket though as often these can work out cheaper than room and tickets seperatly

What site can I use to book a package? The DLRP site keeps crashing when you try to book something - can I get to a non-US site? Can you just get a one night package?

Yes you can book a one night package

It might be worth phoning disney to book it as they can give you different prices for the hotels

You will get tickets for the friday as well with a one night package. What time will he arrive on the Friday? The park is open til11 so he will possibly be able to go in for a few hrs and get some rides done
